In the ‘normal’ world we would usual have gone away for a weekend or out for a meal for our anniversary and this year being our 10th anniversary we had planned to go to the New Forest via Esher (for Jose Pisaro’s restaurant) for the weekend.
But current times don’t allow such a thing so we made the most of what we could do …
Lots of yummy and indulgent cooking opportunities resulting in some tasty meals. Skate wing, Seabass, mixed grill outdoor casserole (BBQ) on Saturday followed by ribeye steak on Sunday.
Lovely anniversary cards and presents were all still possible during lockdown. Lovely ‘tin’ man, beer ‘tin’ cufflinks, Campbells tomato soup ‘tins’ bracelet and some tins of beer/cider. Anyone would have thought tin was the theme for 10 years!
Managed to get out on our bikes and enjoy the sunshine. Of course a #weestop (new world ones) were also enjoyed.
And the cats were very pleased we hadn’t deserted them for our weekend away.
Oh and more deliveries … meat this time and lots of it! This should keep us going for a while!
